Cindy is captivated by the work of various artists like Richard Diebenkorn, Joan Mitchell, Georgia O’Keeffe, Jasper Johns, Gerhard Richter, and Andrew Wyeth. Her strong affinity for Wyeth's art stems from childhood, where she eagerly listened to her Dad and other family members who grew up in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, recounting intriguing tales about the Wyeth family. As an adult, she discovered that Andy firmly believed in the concept of "painting what you love, painting what you feel." This profound belief influenced her own artistic philosophy and is the way she approaches her subject matter.
